This Full Moon on 19th March 2011 is at 28 degrees of Virgo.
The Full Moon marks an ending or a culmination of a cycle. Because it is brighter on earth at the time of the Full Moon, the particular area in our chart in which the Full Moon falls will be highlighted. So for example, if it falls in your 2nd house, your finances and your money will be in the spotlight. If it falls in your 7th house, your relationships will come into sharper focus.
Virgo rules your health, your physical body, healing, complementary therapies, medicine in general, your daily routines and habits, how you organize your space, serving and helping others, volunteering, working behind the scenes, paying attention to details, perfecting a skill.
During the Full Moon in Virgo, here are some good things to do or to consider:
Examine your daily routines – are they serving you well or do you need to make some changes?
Are you being too robotic or are you going with the flow too much that you have no structure in your life and you are not getting things done.
Are you looking after your body?
Are you getting enough sleep?
Tune into your physical body – if it needs a rest, take a nap, if it needs more exercise – formulate a regular routine
Go on a detox diet or cleanse
Try a different complementary healing method
Have a massage
Do something nice for your body
Which areas in your life need cleaning? It could be your space, your mind, your body, your office, your home…
It’s a good time to see any medical professionals for a checkup e.g. dentist, doctor, take your pet to the vet etc.
Is your car running smoothly or do you need to get some repairs done to it?
What can you throw away, give away or sell to make more space in your life?
Can you decrease your junk food intake and start eating more healthily?
If you are eating too many sweets decide you will cut them out
Try to find the balance between escapist time and time when you are switched on and focused
Make a list of what needs to be done so that you can tick off items as you go along and feel a sense of accomplishment
Start some volunteering work
Clear out your clutter
Tidy up your office and your paperwork
Pay attention to details
Clean your home, your car, tidy the garden, get order into your life
Take time to reflect on any health issues and take an honest look at where you need to make changes – maybe you need to plan meditation or yoga time. Are you in the job or service that you love? What would you love to be doing?
Are you engaging in a service that feeds your soul while helping others?
It’s a great time for healing of yourself and of others
Maybe you are too busy and you need to learn how to say no
Identify what you would like to remove from your life and write down the things that are keeping you too busy
It falls in my 4th house of home and surroundings, so I have planned to clean out the garage, do some weeding and tidy up the garden. It’s also a great time to organize my accounts and bookkeeping ready for the end of the tax year on 31st March. All the filing that has started to pile up will get sorted out during this Full Moon in Virgo. As I mentioned earlier, whichever house it falls in your chart will be highlighted – and for me it will be my home. So the filing that has been piling up will become more noticeable and I will just have to get it done!
Try to use the Full Moon in Virgo to your advantage to streamline your activities so that you have more space for new and exciting experiences to come into your life.
